This 8-ply radial tire and wheel combo is built to handle long hauls at highway speeds without breaking a sweat. The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 radial tire carries up to 1,220 lbs at 65 psi, with a speed rating of M (81 mph). The double steel belts and full nylon plies keep it stable under load, while the premium rubber compound helps disperse heat for better tread life on extended runs.
The steel wheel features a tough 8-spoke design coated in white powder over an e-coat primer to fight corrosion season after season. Its beveled stud holes keep the wheel seated tight against the hub so lug nuts stay secure without constant retightening. The wheel is rated for 1,250 lbs, has a 4 on 4" bolt pattern, a pilot diameter of 2.84", and a 0 offset for straightforward mounting.

The Karrier S-Trail tread is computer-generated with breaks in the ribs and fine sipes that channel water away from the tire surface. That means better contact with the road and improved traction when conditions turn wet, snowy, or icy. It’s the same kind of tread approach found on automotive tires—purpose-built for control and confidence when weather doesn’t cooperate.

Skip the mounting appointment—this tire and wheel come paired, pre-mounted, and aired up so it’s ready to bolt on right out of the box. The assembly meets DOT specifications and includes both a 5-year tire warranty and a limited 1-year wheel warranty, plus a 1-year worry-free guarantee that covers replacement if the tire is damaged within the first year.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

First time camper, just bought a used pop up. Original tires were 5.30 X 12
I wanted a better tire if possible etrailer recommend ST145/R12. I asked several questions, all expertly answered so I felt comfortable buying. Just completed my first trip, just under 2400 miles round trip. Tires have been flawless and smooth as silk. Also very recent Mfg. dates on tires.
I'm very pleased with the tires I have pulled my boat from Chicagoland to Florida and back. I highly recommend radial tires for pulling trailer's at highway speeds. I got the new hubs and bearings also for my fifty year old trailer and bought the whole package (hubs with bearings already installed) for the money that's the only way to go.
I bought these to replace the stock 4.8-12 tires on my 2004 Viking pop up camper. I wanted to go radial and a little larger and these fit the bill perfectly.
Got it delivered pretty fast for free delivery. Every item was sent correctly and in great shape. 2nd time buying from etrailer and will do so again when I need something. Now I can pull my trailer to buy the lumber to finish my home built trailer.
Excellent replacement for 4 lug 12" bias ply tires on small trailers and pop-ups. Two sets for a pop-up and 4x8 over the last couple years. Never going back to bias ply tires.
I used these on my motorcycle trailer and drove it about 3000 miles and they performed perfectly. No complaints. I would definitely recommend these tires and wheels to anyone thinking about it.
Product arrived as scheduled and was properly inflated. I've taken two trips with this on my pop-up camper, for a total of 200 miles, and they have performed well. I'm glad I purchased this set as a replacement for my old 4-lug wheel/tire combo. I'm very satisfied.
update: 2nd box of two delivered today. All is good.
This is my second pair of Kendra Karrier tires for separate trailers. They were replacements for lower range rated tires. One set was with white rims and the other with aluminum alloy rims. Both are 4 bolts rims and they fit perfect. These tires are excellent. They really make the trailers look strong and able to go the distance and speed!
improved load capacity and greater piece of mind
I bought trailer wheels rated for 81 MPH, had them balanced, mounted, and they are working well.
I do not understand why a trailer I purchased does not come with wheels rated for freeway speed and no warning at the time of purchase.
Great fit for my Popup camper. Shipped quickly and complete. Thank you ...again
Tires & rims arrived the next day after placing the order the night before. I was actually caught off guard as I did not expect them to arrive till Monday. Installed them on the trailer later that day. No surprises and they fit perfectly. Old tires were cracked and the rims were in bad shape. New wheels look great !! Very pleased.

No issues, tires and rims working out very well
Very quick standard shipping. I have the same tires and wheels on the trailer but they are over 7 years old and have been used on multiple 1200 mile freeway trips with no issues so wanted to replace them with the same thing.

The wheels look amazing Lucas! What kind of boat do you have under the cover? looks fancy!
We bought a Popup camper trailer and I have never towed anything before. I had to do an alarming amount of learning about different tires and brands, and let me tell you how hard it is not to find a china bomb on a 12' rim for something your family will be riding in or towing.
My experience with buying from etrailer was superb. I was notified when Items would be in stock. The original tires I had selected were on backorder for 8 months, so these were my second choice. They were supposed to be on back order for a couple weeks, but came in stock and arrived at my house almost a full week before promised.
I have mounted the tires but haven't road tested them yet. I am very excited, to try them out. I had some old LR C tires that were not M rated, I wanted to get a little extra wiggle room on my trailer, but have no plans on pushing the envelope on them. I am already much happier with the footprint of these over the previous trailer tires, and I am very sure they will ride smooth.
Theses were ordered in December of 2021 and the manufacture code was from august of 2021, so they are still fresh from the factory. I included a side by side of my old tire and the new one. I also ordered parts to do an “axle flip” because dexter doesn’t make a kit for the 1 ¾ inch axle. etrailer already had the parts on their FAQ page listed that you could order from them and it was half the price of a dexter kit. I just have to buy a case of Dr. Pepper for my nephew to weld the new spring seat on the axle for me.
Thanks to Conner for his very quick responses to my questions, and his expertise.

Tires have been great. We have done at least a trip a month with out compare. We took it out to Iowa about 3k miles round trip and they have been fine. Our camper is rated for 2200lbs and I don’t think we ever push 1800-1900 so we are well below load rating. I think the “max speed rating” on the camper is 65, I have cruised at 70 and gone a little faster with these tires with no problems. The treads are holding up well. I plan to replace the ones touching the road every 3 years. I don’t believe they will be worn out by then, but that’s a recommendation from my camping group. They have had lots of blowouts and I prefer not to have that experience. If I had it to do over again, I would purchase this tire without hesitation.
I have a pop-up camper that was converted to a utility trailer. The old rims were very rusty and I only found out when I went to install this new Kenda tire/rim combo that the old rims were bent/warped and difficult to remove from center bore. This new Kenda tire and rim combo makes my trailer look so much better! The rubber on these tires is very grippy, which I really like! My old, dry-rotted tires felt like plastic to the touch with no grip whatsoever. I used the etrailer website to learn how to properly measure the spacing between lugs to ensure I buy the right size. Shipping came super quick and all in one box. Tires were filled to the correct psi. I could not have been happier! I've since replaced the sides of the trailer with pressure treated wood, added 2 strips of 2"x 2"x6', 1/4" thick angle iron to the underside of the 2x8x8 plank flooring and used it to haul loam and crushed rock. All went super smooth and feels great to be able to use my utility trailer again!

It has been a year of regular use with this Kenda tirerim combo and I couldnt be happier! They are still holding up great! Just made a dump run yesterday of fallen limbs from a recent storm.
Good product, good packaging and fast s hipping.
Tires are great, exactly what I need to replace my old boat trailer tires and have a matching spare.
Delivery was fast, and tirse packaged very well. Very happy with the tires!l
I needed a spare tire for my pull behind Motorcycle trailer as it did not come with one and this was a perfect fit. I needed a good radio on a four lug 4 inch wheel and the fitment was spot on.
I wanted to update a small utility trailer so that I could Actually drive at freeway speeds. This wheel fit my trailer despite the extra quarter inch tire width. yes its closer to the trailer frame. Yes there is still plenty of clearance.
I have a Thule Easyline 205 utility trailer that was purchased in the early 2000s that needed the tires replaced and the wheels were still in good shape but rusting. I contacted local tire shops and was shocked by how expensive replacement tires of a much lower quality would be. After adding in new wheels to mount the tires on I decided to search the internet of other options. I found etrailer and could not be happier with the price and quality of the mounted tires and the wheels. They increase my confidence as they are rated for a higher speed with a greater weight capacity than the local shop offered. My trailer uses lug bolts instead of nuts and these wheels fit perfectly even though the center bore is slightly larger than the original wheels had. I got free shipping on them and they arrived 90 minutes before the scheduled delivery time in Oregon. Amazing that the can go from Missouri to Oregon and be delivered exactly on time. I will use etrailer again when I have additional needs…like new bearings.
